(Bob) graduated from Texas Military Institute in San Antonio, Texas and Southern Methodist University, served in the U.S. army in the South Pacific Theater during World War II, was a past Southwestern Regional Director and Golden Council Life Member of Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity, and was a Master Mason of the Faith Lodge, Wichita Falls, Texas; Scottish Rite Mason-Orient of Dallas, Hella Temple Shrine, and member of Royal Order of Jesters, Court 25 of Dallas, Texas. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church. He retired in 1986 in Dallas from G.M.C. Truck & Coach Division of General Motors after 30 years with the Corporation.
