A native of Texas, Bob Butler was born 14 May 1926 in Houston. Married #1 Paula Shaffer, two children Pamela Ann & Terry Sue.
Married #2 Emma Lou Shrum, who were together 32 years. B.C. (Bob) graduated from Texas Military Institute in San Antonio, Texas and Southern Methodist University, served in the U.S. army in the South Pacific Theater during World War II, was a past Southwestern Regional Director and Golden Council Life Member of Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity, and was a Master Mason of the Faith Lodge, Wichita Falls, Texas; Scottish Rite Mason-Orient of Dallas, Hella Temple Shrine, and member of Royal Order of Jesters, Court 25 of Dallas, Texas. He was also a member of the First United Methodist Church. He retired in 1986 in Dallas from G.M.C. Truck & Coach Division of General Motors after 30 years with the Corporation.
