William, of Egg Harbor Twp, passed away Sunday after a courageous struggle with cancer.
He was born and raised in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania before he relocated to South Jersey.
He was predeceased by his devoted wife Wanda of forty seven years.
Bill's thirty eight years of continuous Military Service included four years in the US Navy, two years Air Force active duty for the Berlin Crisis and Vietnam War, followed by thirty two years with the New Jersey Air National Guard 177th FIG. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant in 1993. He served as President of the Army Air National Guard NCO Association of New Jersey from 1984-1987. He was also employed by Icthyological Associates as a research biologist and Galaxy Scientific as a technical report editor.
He enjoyed growing his orchids, spending time on the water and watching his grandchildren's many sports and activities.
Bill leaves behind his daughters, Shannon Crawford (Curt), Karen Muldoon (Bennett); son, Keith Bagot (Stephanie); and six adored grandchildren, Taylor, Cassidy, Austin, Bennett, Delaney and Colin. He also leaves behind his loving aunts, Bea and Celi.
