He served his country with the United States Navy and retired after thirty years as a Chief Petty Officer. He also retired from Civil Service. Mr. Allen was a member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Jean; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Paul Massengill and their children, Ian and Blake; and a son, Kenneth Allen.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2005 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Reverend Ron Lentine officiating.
Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2005 at the funeral home.
