Jessie was the son of John Wesley and Serena Ann Nance Edwards. Jessie married Dora Alice Baucom, they had four children, Walter, Cleamon, James and Nettie. Dora died March, 6th 1920. Jessie then Married Mary Smith, after her death he married Nancy Hyatt.
