Note from Tim Pruitt (49781109):

The records of Marchiennes-Ville indicate Jean Baptiste Carrin was born 1 Sep 1834 to Catherine Joseph Tavernier. I cannot find any mention of him in the records of Denain, and no mention at all in Nord of any "Marie-Catherine de Madluine" or "Marie-Catherine De Maulin." His father, Jean Baptiste Carrin, married Catherine Joseph Tavernier on 24 Jul 1833 in Coutiches, Nord, France.
