HEIR, DIES AT 88
Mrs. Lucile C. Swift, 88, widow of George H. Swift, a son of the founder of Swift & Co., died yesterday in her home in Boston. She had lived in Boston since her marriage in 1907 to Mr. Swift, who for many years had been in charge of the company's eastern business until he retired in 1949.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Van Nice, Mrs. Lucile Davis, and Mrs. Eleanor Reeve; a son, George H. Jr.; 18 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. tomorrow in St. Chrysostom Episcopal Church, 1424 N. Dearborn St.
