Died Monday, July 20, 2009 at the Fisher Senior Care and Rehab Center in Mayville, at the age of 91. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 23 at Avram Funeral Home in Mayville. Interment will take place in Rich Township Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at Avram Funeral Home from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 22 and from 10 a.m. until time of the service Thursday, July 23. Jane was born July 13, 1918 in Caro, the daughter of John and Neva (LeValley) Dunham. She married Dave Ohmer on Sept. 24, 1938. She was a full-time homemaker, wife and mother. Jane is survived by her children, Charles (Irene) Ohmer of Saginaw, Ruth Serven of Vassar and Lana (Lyle) Fryers of Mayville; sister, Ann Bernson of Cadillac; sister-in-law, Barbara Dunham of Caro; son-in-law, Douglas (Mary Jo) Stout of Mayville; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Dave; son, David; daughter, Bonnie Jean Stout and three brothers, Spencer, Perry and George Dunham. Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the donor's choice.
