Tharold Eugene was the son of Elzie and Ina Isabelle Scott Edwards. He was married to Geraldine Gilley on March 31, 1956. To this union 4 children were born. He answered the call to preach in 1961. Tharold was an ordained minister of the Free Will Baptist. He pastored the Lone Star and Mtn. Valley Free Will Baptist church. He also preached numerous revivals.
