OBITUARY: Mrs.A. L. Alexander, 97, whose home is northwest of Madison, died at 6:20 o'clock last night at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. Evans Carleton of Mission, Kan. Mrs. Alexander, who had been ill the past year, had been with the daughter throughout that time. She
also is survived by two sons, Fred Alexander of the homenear Madison and the Rev. Archie Alexander of Lake Ozark; a brother, Ernest Davis of Shelbyville; and
two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr. Alexander died a number of
years ago. The body will be brought to the Thompson Funeral Home in Madison, and
funeral arrangements will be made later. Services probably will be held in the

Madison- Funeral services for Mrs. A. L. Alexander, who died Thursday night in Mission, Kan.,
will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Madison Christian Church. The
body will be in the Thompson Funeral Home until time for the service. Mrs.
Alexander, 97, was the eldest resident in the Madison vicinity. She died at the
home of her daughter, Mrs. Evans Carelton, where she had lived the past year,

Madison- Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie Alexander, 97 year-old resident of near Madison, were held Sunday
afternoon in the Madison Christian Church by the Rev. C. W. Cornn, pastor. Mrs. Cornn, accompanied by Miss Celestine Owens of Moberly, sang "My God and I," and
"Abide With Me." Among those from out of town attending the service were the Rev. Archie Alexander, Mrs. Alexander, Mrs. William Campbell of Lake of the
Ozarks, Bruce Alexander of the Navy Air Corps at Pensacola, Florida; Mr. and
Mrs. Evans Carleton, Mission, Kansas; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Davis, Mrs. Riley
Wilcox and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Davis, all of Shelbyville, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. Wall
and Mrs. Dewey Sells, Kansas City; Mrs. Ada Kimbel, Miss Martha Davis, Elvert
Davis, Mrs. Tom Clark, Miss Mary Sue Meals, Mrs. Fay Hunt, Mr. and Mrs. Mansur
Broaddus, Mrs. Darlene Hellensmith, Mrs. Nell Brown, Mr. and Mrs. John Overfelt,
all of Moberly; Mr. and Mrs. Benson and daughter, Sturgeon.
