Earl Jehu was the son of James Taylor and Malinda Alice Agnew Barnes.He was the 11th child in a family of 12. He married Anna C. Matthews on June 1, 1929. He was a veteran of World War 1. Earl lived on the old home place across the road from Fairview Church for many years. His mother Malinda lived with him until he married. Then they built her a small house nearby where she lived until her death.
