Mrs. Thomas Jefferson Bell, 88, died at her home in Adairsville Tuesday afternoon after a short illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Adairsville Baptist Chruch with the Rev. Pen C. Scarborough and the Rev. B. L. Betts officiating. Interment will be in the family lot in the Dewey Cemetery. Pallbearers will be J. W. Holt, J. G. Newton, Andy Thompson, C. W. Satterfield, E. M. Penfield, R. L. Dodd.
Mrs. Bell born at Sharp Top, Ga., was the former Margaret Elizabeth Worley (as spelled in the article). She had been a member of the Adairsville Baptist Church for the past 35 years.
Survivors are two step sons, Jeff Bell, of Smithville, Texas; Wilson P. Bell, with whom the deceased made her home, of Adairsville; two step daughters, Mrs. W. L. Adcock, of Adairsville; Mrs. Denson Crow, of Newport, Ky.; and a host of grandchildren.
Mrs. Bell was affectionately know to all her grandchildren and to the young people as "Tizzie."
