Mrs. Mary Jane Campbell 538 West Main street, died at St. Mary's hospital shortly after 8 o'clock Friday night. Death was due to the infirmities of old age. She was eighty-six years old. Her maiden name was Hostetler. She was born Oct. 15 1836 in Clark county, Ind. but came to Illinois when a baby. She was married March 8, 1857 to James C. Campbell. She had lived practically all her life in Macon county and in Decatur since 1878. She leaves four children; Mrs. Lou M. Smith of North Dakota, C. M. Campbell of California, Seymour Campbell and Ida M. Campbell, both of Decatur.
