Catherine Louise Shodlouski Hartley, 75, of Marion, IN, and having family members in Van Buren, IN, died Saturday, July 4, 2009, at 3:25 p.m. at the Wesleyan Health Care Center, Marion.

Mrs. Hartley had been employed by Hook's Drugs, Diana Shop and Resnick's and was a nurse's aide at Bradner Village Health Care Center. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Marion. She graduated from Marion High School in 1951.

She was born July 8, 1933, in Marion to Earl and Fern Kinerk Hartley.

Survivors include two sons, Charles E. Shodlouski and Leon M. (Sheryl) Shodlouski, both of Marion; two daughters, Michelle R. Shelton, of Dora, AL, and Bernadette L. (Rodney) Herndon, of Hartford City; two sisters, Phyllis A. (Jerry) Pace, of Tipton County, and Marylou (William) Boyd, of Van Buren; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Calling is Thursday, July 9, 2009, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion. A service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 10, 2009, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Richard Weisenberger officiating. Burial will be at Grant Memorial Park, Marion.
