Carroll Hatcher Bryant, 70, of Callao, a retired farmer, died Sunday at his home. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Callao. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hester Lewis Bryant; a son Sgt. Lewis C. Bryant of Ft. Knox, KY; a daughter Mrs Gladys H. Honecker of Altoona, PA; a sister, Mrs Irene King of Haynesville and four grandchildren. a funeral service was held Tuesday February 13th at Bethany Baptist Church, Callao, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. William P. Huff officiated. Pallbearers were; Lawrence King, Francis Minor, Edward Courtney, J. W. Courtney, E. Vandlandingham and Earl Elmore.
