Roy B. Johnson, 69, of Blue Lick Road, Berea, died Saturday, July 11, 2009 at U. K. Medical Center of complications following a stroke. He was a life long resident of Madison County born August 8, 1939, son of the late Albert and Hallie McKnight Johnson, retired Parker Seal Company employee, and member of Pilot Knob Baptist Church.

Survivors include his loving wife, Imogene Edester Johnson; 2 children, Roy Steven (Bonita) Johnson and Kimberly Kaye Johnson, both of Richmond; 4 siblings, William Johnson, Charles Johnson, Linda Botkins, Hubert Johnson, all of Berea. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Johnson.

Funeral Service 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Reppert Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Harding officiating. Burial will follow in Berea Cemetery. Visitation 6:00 to 9:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Albert Johnson, Brian Johnson, Robert Edester, Martin Edester, Keith Edester, and Jeff Johnson. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Pilot Knob Baptist Church Building Fund.
