Mary Michealina Loparo was originally from Independence, Ohio where she was raised by her parents Philomena and Santo along with her two brothers.

She married on January 16, 1970, she had two daughters, Colleen and Katie, with her husband. They were divorced in 1977. Mary never remarried.

Mary moved to Arizona in 1982 where she remained until 3 weeks before her death. She wanted to come home to Ohio to die. Her mother Philomena died on May 9, 2009 only weeks before her own death along with her father Santo, who died shortly after Mary on July 21, 2009.

A funeral mass was held at Saint Michael's Catholic Church, 6800 Brecksville Road, Independence, Ohio where she went to grade school and was married.

Mary was laid to rest along side her mother on Saturday, July 11, 2009 in Mapleshade Cemetery, Rockside & Brecksville Roads, Idependence, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
