TRINITY -- Graveside service for Joan Elizabeth Jackson Darnell, 57, of Moulton will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Morris Chapel Cemetery with Hoyt Nelson officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Darnell died Thursday, June 28, 2001, at her home. She was born Aug. 13, 1943, in Lawrence County to Aaron Jackson and Ruby Jackson. She was a homemaker and a member of New Antioch Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Bailey Darnell; one son, Jeffery Darnell of Moulton; seven brothers, Steve Jackson, Danny Pete Jackson, Michael Jackson, Billy Jackson and Joe Jackson, all of Moulton, Coy Jackson of Decatur and Lamon Jackson of Hillsboro; two sisters, Diann Farris of Baton Rouge, La., and Melissa Hudson of Hillsboro; and one half-sister; Anna Borden of Moulton.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Parrick, Ronnie Darnell, Michael Darnell, Wesley Taylor, John Quigley and Joey Jackson.

Memorials may be made to the New Antioch Church of Christ Building Fund.
