Zackary Scott Moberly, age 10, died Tuesday, November 13, at St. Joseph Berea Hospital. He was born in Richmond, Ky. on November 3, 1997. Zackary attended Bethel Baptist Church and loved skate boarding, baseball, basketball, Southern Madison County Youth League Orangemen, Cardinals for Berea Youth League baseball and loved to watch Disney and eat ice cream and cereal.


He is survived by: his father, Christopher Scott (Tina) Moberly of Berea; his mother, Cherish (Eric) Willis of Berea; brothers, Maximus Moberly of Berea; sisters, Ella Grace Willis and Elizabeth Willis of Berea; maternal grandparents, Rhonda and David Beaman of Germany, Jeff Hogsten of Flatwoods, Ky. and Tom Skidmore of Berea; maternal great grandparents, Mary and the late Clyde Hogsten of Flatwoods, Ky.; Herman and Mable Tolle of Vanceburg, Ky.; paternal grandparents, Don and Brenda Kidwell of Berea; Donnie Moberly of Livingston, Ky.; great grandmother, Margaret Brock of Junction City, Ky.; aunts and uncles, Jeremy Hogsten, Jennifer Hogsten, Thomas Skidmore, Shawn and Becki Moberly, Chad and Tiffaney Kidwell, Donnie and Tracy Kidwell Jr., Angela Powell ; Eric and Dawn Kidwell; cousins, Alexis, Trent, Isabella, Logan, McKenzie, Alivia; special best friend, Isaiah Adams.


Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Berea Baptist Church with Bro. Eddie Lainhart officiating. Burial will be in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Friday at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Donnie Kidwell, Jr., Shawn Moberly, Chad Kidwell, Jeremy Hogsten, Thomas Skidmore and Kevin Damrell. Honorary pallbearers will be Isaiah Adams, Logan Lakes. Blake Pingleton, Akash Patel, Austin Philbeck, Maguire Jennings, Casey Short, Shyiem Alexander and 4th grade class mates and teachers at Shannon Johnson Elementary School.
