90, of Phoenix, AZ passed away July 1, 2009. Born September 16, 1918 to Melvin & Gladys Snapp in Newton, Kansas. He is preceded in death by his parents & 1 daughter. Survived by his wife Pauline of 65 years, daughter Jane Vanover and 3 grandchildren. Preston served in the army in Germany during World War II and remained active in the reserves and retired as a major in 1978. He was a graduate of CSU in 1947 & received a masters degree in education in 1950. Burial with military honors at National Memorial Cemetery 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd, July 10th at 9am.
