Though her journey required courage and much endurance, she lovingly taught those around her many valuable life-lessons; the most important being gratitude. We are at peace knowing she is able to once again share her warm, caring personality and bringing joy to family and friends who have preceded her. We envision her being the life of the party, reuniting with her loved ones and savoring every minute of it.
Mae was born October 16, 1924 in Hunter, Utah to David Wayne Davis and Ida Amanda Wilkins.
She joined her older brothers, Melvin and Howard, and sister, Elva. Her little brother, Kenneth, joined the family four years later.
Mom married Warren Elbert (Bud) Holmberg on October 7, 1944. They lived in Kearns where Sandra and Zane were born. Mom worked as a keypunch operator (data entry). In 1957, Bud passed away unexpectedly. This marriage was later solemnized in the Billings, MT Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
On March 20, 1959, Mom married Harrison Leo Woodbury (Leo) and moved to Montana. They had two children, Shawna and Bryan. She and Leo divorced and Mom moved to Billings in 1972, where she has lived until the present time. Family was the most important part of her life.
She is survived by her sister, Elva Burt, of West Valley City, UT; daughters, Sandy (Ken) Bailey and Shawna (Ray) Halsey of Billings, sons, Zane (Mary Ann) Holmberg of Sandy, UT and Bryan (Cindee) Woodbury of Clay Center, NE. Grandchildren: Rachelle (Brent) Walker, Nathan (Angie) Bailey; Jared (Chris), Kyle (Natalija), Collin (Lori), Reed, and Jordan Holmberg; Garrett, Logan, Brynnan, and Kirby Halsey; Teagan, Morgan, Dylan, Adam, Jordan Woodbury, and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, at 12:00 noon.
