Albert Francis O'Toole, Jr., age 49 of Philadelphia, Pa., passed away on July 1, 2009.
Albert was born and raised in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, Pa.
Beloved husband of Nancy(nee Logan); loving son of Albert F. O'Toole, Sr. and Joan O'Toole. Father of Kassandra, Amanda Mehaffey(George), Patricia and Colin. Stepfather of Jennifer. Brother of Lucy Ann Doyle(John)and Virginia, uncle of Desirae and great uncle of John.
Albert is also survived by many aunts and uncles, plus numerous cousins locally and in other parts of the country.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Charles Barton. Paternal Grand parents Benajmin R. O'Toole, Sr. and Anna M. O'Toole, paternal great-grandmother, Katerina Ferro, his paternal great-grandparents, Susan and Daniel O'Toole, his paternal grandparents, Anna and Benjamin Raymond O'Toole, Sr.; 2 of his paternal uncles, Benjamin Raymond O'Toole, Jr. and Robert J. O'Toole Sr.; 2 paternal great-uncles, Joseph Ferro and Frank Ferro. He was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Joann O'Toole.
He attended Father Judge Catholic High School and Lincoln High School, both in Philadelphia.
Al was a Philadelphia firefighter for 26 years with Engine 27. He was a Corporal in the Fire Dept.
Relatives, friends and members of Firefighters local 22 are invited to share in Al's Life Celebration Sunday 6-9 p. m. and Monday morning starting at 8 a. m. from John F. Givnish of Academy Rd., 10975 Academy Rd., Philadelphia and to participate in his Funeral Mass 10 a. m. at St. Jerome Church, Holme Ave. & Stamford Sts. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, Pa.
