Funeral services for Rose Yvonne Sherrin, of Sulphur Springs, were conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday July 6, 2009 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Henderson officiating. Interment followed at the Smyrna Church Cemetery in Emory. Pallbearers were Donald "Duck" Dailey, Cody Henderson, Wesley Henderson, Curtis Hofineister, Justin Worley and "Rocky" Allen Brock.
Visitation was held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 5, 2009 at West Oaks Funeral Home.
Rose Sherrin passed away, June 30, 2009 after succumbing to injuries she received from a motor vehicle accident that also claimed the lives of her two daughters, Terri Jo Paris and Keisha McPherson.
Rose was born on October 3, 1964 in Ft. Worth, Texas to W.I. "Bill" Dollar and Letta Dollar, who preceded her in death. She was a caregiver and a CNA.
Survivors include her great friend and confidant, "Rocky" Allen Brock, brothers; Lodes Sherrin, Dale Sherrin of Sulphur Springs, Donald "Duck" Dailey of Quitman, half brother, Raymond Parker of Mineola, step-brother, Wiliam Joe Dollar, sisters; Debra Williams of Ft. Worth, Letta Humphreys of Bullard, Terrie Dollar of Mineola, Pat Pierce of Arlington, two step-sisters, Becky Butcher and Vickie Anderson, 4 grandchildren, 23 great-nieces and nephews.
