HOBBS, N.M. — Graveside services for Herbert E. Ivester, 64, of Hobbs, N.M., will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Prairie Haven Memorial Park with the Rev. LaVoid Ford officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home. He died Friday, Oct. 12, 2001.
He was born Jan. 28, 1937, in Spartanburg, S.C. He married Julie Moreno on Feb. 27, 1973, in Seminole. He was preceded in death by a son, Dale Ivester.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Joey of Indianapolis, Ind.; two brothers, Carl of Phoenix and Robert of Mauldin, S.C.; three sisters, Ethel Brooks of Taylor, S.C., Emily Carver of Greenville, S.C., and Edna Cole of Los Angeles; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
