Pauline Ardinell Apple, 15 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Apple, died last evening at the family residence one mile West of West Millgrove. Death was caused by scarlet fever, terminating a brief illness of only three days.
The deceased was born at North Baltimore, February 9, 1917, making her age at death 15 years, 8 months and 4 days. She was a sophomore in the Wayne high school and attended Sunday school at Millgrove.
Those who survive are the parents and the following brothers and sisters: Gerald Apple of Fostoria, Mrs. L. Gregory of Fostoria, Kenneth and Robert Apple at home.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at the home with interment in the North Baltimore cemetery. Rev. Mr. King conducted the services.
