Mrs. Bertha Stacy
Mrs. Bertha Stacy, 59, of Jolo, died early Monday in a Welch hospital following a long illness.
Born in Buchanan County, Va., she was the daughter of Granville and Cosby Riffe.
Surviving are her husband, Lee Stacy; four daughters, Miss Dorothy Stacy of Bristol, Tenn., Mrs. Gay Rodgers of Jefferson, Ohio, Miss Josephine Stacy of Frederick, Md., and Mrs. Loraine Dale of Arlington, Va.; ten sons, Otis, Howard, Terry, Coy, and Woodrow Stacy, all of Jolo, Roger Stacy of Raysal, Darrell Stacy of Yukon, Denny Stacy and Dennis Stacy, both of High Point, N.C., and Curtis Stacy of Cleveland, Ohio; two brothers, Farrell Riffe and Bascom Riffe, both of Akron, Ohio; and two sisters, Dorothy Riffe of Frederick, Md., and Liddie Riffe of Norfolk, Va.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 11a.m. at the Mary Lou Regular Baptist Church on State Line Ridge with Rev. Freddie Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow in the Cooper Cemetery at Paynesville.
The body will be removed from Fanning Funeral Home at Iaeger to the residence today at 2pm. where friends may call.
