Barbara Ann Shoaf Rumfelt, 67, of Arvil Hunt Road, died Monday evening, May 1, 2000, at Lexington Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Wayne Knight. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Mrs. Rumfelt was born Feb. 2, 1933, in Davidson County to W. Harold Shoaf and Margaret Myers Shoaf. She retired from Parkdale Mills after 46 years of service.

Surviving are her husband, David Russell Rumfelt Jr. of the home; two sons, David Russell Rumfelt III and Roy Lee Rumfelt, both of Lexington; four grandchildren, David Rumfelt IV, Heath Rumfelt, Emilee Rumfelt and Mindy Rumfelt, all of Lexington; a brother, Cyrus Shoaf of Wilmington; and a sister, Betty Shoaf Benfield of Lexington.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, and other times at the residence.

Memorials may be made to First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1448 Highway 64 East, Lexington, N.C. 27292; or Meals on Wheels, 104 E. Center St., Lexington, N.C. 27292.
