Marvin Gibson, 284 A Street, Crescent passed away July 15, 1964. He is survived by his wife Bertha; one son Jack Gibson, Crescent City; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Elbon, Mrs. Ann Wright and Mrs. Maxine Center, Crescent City. He leaves 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also the brother of Louis Gibson, Porterville; Harvey Gibson, Cainige, Okla.; Merle Gibson, McAllister, Okla., Mrs. Mamie Winters, Los Angeles, Mrs. Ann Dupree, Mrs. Edna Taylor, Commerce, Okla. Gibson was a commercial fisherman and resided in Del Norte county for 18 years. He was 63 years of age and a WW I veteran. Services will be conducted Friday, 2 p.m. from Wier's Mortuary chapel with Rev. Kenneth Holinsead officiating. Internment will be at the Veterans cemetery.
