Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Eleventh Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Jernigan and the Rev. Jess Stafford officiating. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.
Mrs. Moore was born Feb. 25, 1911, in Forrest, N.M., to John and Emma McBride. She married Clyde Moore on Jan. 13, 1933. Mrs. Moore loved to use her hands and make homemade gifts for her family and friends. She made many quilts, and loved to crochet as well as sew. She also shared her beautiful voice with her family by singing to them on a regular basis. Mrs. Moore was a charter member of Eleventh Street Baptist Church in Shamrock. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Moore; her parents; a great-granddaughter, Debbie Bright; a great-great-grandson, Karson Kesler; four brothers; and five sisters.
Survivors include three daughters, Revena Emmertt of Shamrock, Shirley Hutchison of Gallup, N.M., and Mayvon Smith of Amarillo; two sons, Hubert Moore and wife Jeanie of Shamrock and Jerry Moore of Amarillo; a sister, Lenora Pope of Estancia, N.M.; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
