Virginia Monday was a very eloquent, kind and sensible woman.
She was educated in Lincoln County, Tenessee, baptized at Gravitt's Chapel AME Church in Huntsville, Alabama; married Albert Ewing (who preceeded her in death) and later married Rev. Bryan Monday, her husband until her passing.
Virginia was a great organizer and contributor to many clubs and organizations in the greater Nashville area.
She passed away peacefully at the age of 74 after battling cancer of the esophagus.
