In Oct. 1876, when Mary Jane (the oldest sister of Frederick) was 16 years old, the family moved to Minnesota from Ontario Canada. They arrived at the port of Buffalo, New York, in October and took out their first naturalization papers on November 28, 1876. The second papers were signed Dec. 17, 1883.

Frederic A. Chadbourne, 78, resident of Carlin Bay and retired woodsman and farmer died yesterday afternoon at his home after suffering a heart attack. He had been in falling health for serval months.

Mr. Chadbourne came to northern Idaho in 1903 from Minnesotta and for many years worked in the logging operations in the St. Maries and Harrison districts. He retired 13 years ago.

Survivors are his widow, Ora, at home; four daughers, Mrs. Violet Walters and Mrs. Mary Sandaker of Coeur d'Alene; Mrs. Florence Husted of Grangeville, Idaho and Mrs. Martha Fee of Coos Bay, Ore; 11 grandchldren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 o'clock from the English Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Forest cemetery.
