BOGALUSA—Joseph Henry Alford Sr., 65, a resident of Bogalusa, died yesterday [sic] in LSU Medical Center in Bogalusa. He was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lydia Fox Alford; three daughters, JoIna McLeman of Crossroads, MS, Cheryl Lynn Baker of Carriere, MS, Lisa Diane Alford of Bogalusa; a son, Joseph Henry Alford JR. of Carriere; two stepdaughters, Debra Jean Alford and Vickie Lynn Mapes, both of Covington; a brother, Andrew N. Alford of Niceville, FL; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Ina Alford.
A graveside service will be held in Hillview Memorial Gardens of Bogalusa tomorrow at 11 a.m.... A visitation will be held at Brown-McGhee Funeral Home tomorrow from 10-11 a.m.
