Deceased Name: Diana B. Chabot
PAWLEYS ISLAND| Diana B. Chabot, 89, of Traditions Club, formerly of Westport, Mass., died Monday, July 7, 2003, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 16, 1914, in Rehobeth, Mass., a daughter of the late Eugene and Marieann Joubert Belisle.
She was a homemaker. She had been a trip leader for Collette Tours, a member of St. George Catholic Church and past president of Ladies Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8502, all in Westport. She had been a recent resident of Prince George Village and was an avid bingo player. She attended Baskerville Adult Day Care Center in Pawleys Island.
Survivors include a daughter, Eileen Delsolia and her husband, Bob, of Pawleys Island; grandchildren Brian Delsolia and his wife, April, of Methuen, Mass., and Gena Mitchell and her husband, Christopher, and Karen Mendieta and her husband, Norman, all of Lawrence, Mass.; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Wilfred Belisle of Fall River, Mass.; sisters Rose Cote and Irene Cournoyer, both of Fall River, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Elzear L. Chabot, in 2002; brothers, Romeo and Eugene Belisle; and sister, Laura Rusin.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Potter Funeral Home in Westport.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. George Catholic Church. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.
