Funeral services for Mary Louise Hass Childress, 79-year-old Leonard resident, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 23 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Rev. Jim McIntire will officiate.

Burial will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery near Leonard, Texas.
Family visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday, June 22 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard.

Mrs. Childress was born August 31, 1929 at Emory, Texas. Her parents were Charlie Jack and Ada Nutt Hass.
She married Troy Lee Childress May 20, 1947 at Farmersville, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grove Hill Methodist Church.

She passed away Friday, June 19 at her daughter's residence at Waxahachie, Texas.
She is survived by her husband: Troy Lee Childress of Leonard, Texas; her daughters and sons-in-law: Annette & Jimmy Cline of Waxahachie, Texas and Geneva and Ricky Koop of Ennis, Texas; her niece and nephew: Betty and Paul James of Caddo Mills, Texas; her 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son: Wayne Childress.
