Ora Mae [Thrash] Motley was the daughter of Elmore Callaway "Elmo" Thrash and Dora Augusta [Ligon] Thrash. Ora married the Rev. Andrew Jackson Motley in 1902 in Pike County, Arkansas. She and Andrew had six children: Beulah Mae [Motley] Lawler-Titus, Thomas Watson Motley, Lola Marie [Motley] Britton, Iva Mae "Billie" [Motley] Bush-Gaultney-Mead, Juanita Molly [Motley] Becchetti and Ina Faye "Motley" Jackson-Abdo-Reynolds. Ora Mae [Thrash] Motley is buried in Fairview Cemetery, Hubbard, Hill County, Texas.
