GRADY W. LEWIS _ Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 17, from the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville for Grady William Lewis, 75, of Greenville, who passed away Sunday, May 15. Rev. C. A. Jernigan and Rev. Jessie Gordy officiated, and interment was in Westview Abby Cemetery in Atlanta.
Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Chester Lewis; two daughters, Ramona Daniel of Lawrenceville and Margaret Dawson of Greenville; three sons, Eddie Lewis of Zebulon, Ralph Lewis of Villa Rica, and Neal Lewis of Molena; one brother, Warren Lewis of Tampa, Fla.; 16 grand-children; and five great-grandchildren.
*Note from contributor: Grady William Lewis was also the father of Harold Cornelius Lewis, Sr. and Mary Nell Lewis-Pike (their mother was Viola Estelle Ayers-Coggins). There are nine grandchildren from this family.
