Arthur Avon "Mac" McPhail-Age 77. Loving husband of 53 years, departed this life on Monday, November 3, 2008 at his home in Mobile. He was a retired Air Force Veteran (Disabled) and a retired U.S. Postal employee. Mr. McPhail was a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association, was a mason and a member of DAV. He was a long time member of Springhill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Betty Eubanks McPhail, two children, Arthur E. McPhail and Pamela S. Smith and her husband, Randy Smith; four grandchildren, Bryan, Amy, Rick and Tyler and one great grandson, Oakley and numerous friends. The family will receive friends at Serenity Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 from 12 noon until the 2:00 p.m. graveside service. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
