He was born June 10, 1937 and died one day short of his 72nd birthday. He was born in Farmersville to Henry D. and Lottie (Wisdom) Chastain. He was a lifelong Abernathy resident and farmed in the Abernathy area.
He is survived by 3 sisters, Janet Mathis and Tammy Doyle both of Odessa, TX and Frances Perkins of Hale Center, TX.
