Rosary Today For R. R. Ryan

R.R. "Rusty" Ryan, 63, of 401 NW
Eubanks, city highway construction
engineer, died Monday morning at
St Anthony Hospital as the result
of injuries suffered in a fall 10
days ago.
Rosary will be recited at 8 pm
Tuesday at the Smith and Kernke
Funeral Home. Requiem mass will
be said at 9:30 am Wednesday, at
Our Lady's Cathedral and burial
will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Ryan was born Sept.30, 1898, at
Chapman, Kan., and was a 1921
graduate of the University of
Kansas. He moved to Oklahoma City
in 1928 and had conducted his
extensive construction business
from here since that time.
He was a member of Our Lady's
Cathedral. He also was a member
of the Knights of Saint Gregory
and Knights of Columbus and was
secretary of the Hot Mix Asphalt
Construction Association.
Survivors include his wife, Ramona,
1 daughter, Mary Lil, both of the
home; his mother, Mrs T.F. Ryan,
2 brothers, Martin S., Byron F., all
of Los Angeles; 4 sisters,
Miss Lillian Ryan, Miss V. Pat Ryan
& Mrs O L Horn, Los Angeles &
Major Veronica Ryan, a member of
the U.S. Army Nurses Corps now on
duty in France.
