Virginia M. (Troup) Slaseman, 63, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at her home. She was the loving wife of William H. Slaseman, Jr.
A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Beaver-Urich Funeral Home, Inc., 305 W. Front St., Lewisberry. The funeral services will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Raymond Kosciolek officiating. Burial will be in Tri-County Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Slaseman was born June 13, 1942, in Pinetown. She was the daughter of Violetta B. (Topper) Troup of Dover and the late Preston L Troup, Sr.
Mrs. Slaseman enjoyed bingo, playing cards, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Slaseman leaves six children, Rick Slaseman of York Haven, Sherry McCartney of York Haven, Kevin Slaseman of Strinestown, Scott Slaseman of Strinestown, William Slaseman III of Carlisle, and Mindy Slaseman of Dover; ten grandchildren; three brothers; and nine sisters. She was preceded in death by her sister, Linda L Dravk.
