Moses "Mo" Haden Beal was married first to Elizabeth (Lizzie) Hodge in Tazewell Co., Illinois, on 24 May 1855. They had 4 children, Mary Beal, Florence M. Beal, Melvina (Ella) Beal and Charles Haden Beal.
Uncle Mo, with whom he is interred with, his second wife, Anna Elizabeth Key Black were married 27 Jan 1887. They had three children and she brought one son, Charles Black and one daughter, Lillie Black into this marriage from her previous marriage to her late husband, Reuben Black. The four children of Moses H. Beal and his second wife, Anna Elizabeth were, Louis L. Beal, Harry Edwin Beal, Glenna Beal and Eva D. Black.
