KATHRYN ELIZABETH BRENEMAN - was born in Lancaster County, Pa., November 15, 1865, and died at her home in McPherson, Kansas, September 14, 1932. With her parents she came to McPherson in 1879 and in November 1884, was married to Chas A. Benjamin who departed this life June 16, 1905. To this union were born four children, Hazel L. Coons and Vera L. Flowers of McPherson, Walter J., of Redlands, California, all of whom survive her together with seven grandchildren. While still a young girl she united with the Methodist Church, but in 1893, she became a member of the Christian Church to which her husband belonged. She was deeply interested in the church, but her work in taking care of others often prevented her from attending the services.

Beside her children, she is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Josie Reed of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Anna Donaldson of Newton, Kans., and Mrs. Blanche Hughes of Alhambra, Calif., and one brother D. H. Breneman of San Bernardino, Calif. She was a kind and living mother and sister, a comfort in sickness and sorrow, and will be mourned by a host of relatives and friends. Funeral service was held at the First Christian Church, 10:a.m., September 16th, in charge of Rev C. J. Saunders of Little River, assisted by J. H. Anderson, minister of the local church. Interment at McPherson cemetery. Source: Daily Republican Newspaper, McPherson, Kansas of 17 Sep 1932.

Cards of Thanks - We wish to thank our many friends and neighbors for their help and sympathy during the sickness and death of our beloved mother; also for the many beautiful floral offerings.
