1ST LT US ARMY AIR FORCES WORLD WAR II

Had been held captive for several years and tortured. He had been starved which lead to an eating disorder lasting the rest of his life.

Cause of death: he drowned in Hawaii. I was told he had a seizure under water. I was also told the seizure was a result of the torture he was put through while being held captive.

Married Ruth Zane on August 20, 1952 in Los Angeles, California.

They had a couple of boys:

Brett Coleman

Bryon Coleman - born with cord wrapped around his neck which resulted in major brain damage. Spent most of his life in an institution in Hawaii.

Baby Boy - Ruth lost this child while moving. I have no idea if she was far enough along for the baby to be buried anywhere.
