One day, when friends were shooting birds, Conrad begged them to stop. He would say, "Don't shoot them. They're just birds. They never hurt anybody."
Conrad enrolled at Whitepass Junior/Senior High School in Randle. Hyperactive and a bit of a class clown, he was popular in his class. Teachers remembered Conrad as a hard worker who sought extra credit.

Services to be held on Friday, January 20, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. at the Church of the Redeemer 3839 N. Monterey Ave., Baldwin Park. Cremation to follow.
