Hester Irwin, 83, of Shady Point died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2000, in a Spiro nursing home. She was a homemaker. She was the widow of Sherman Ivett Irwin.Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Bible Way Baptist Church in Williams, Okla., with burial at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, Okla., under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.Ms. Irwin is survived by three sons, Charlie of Shady Point, Jimmie of Woodruff, Ariz., and Billy of Winslow, Ariz.; one sister, Elizabeth Hanson of California; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Source: "Times Record Obituary Archives."
