Services for Ollie Adamson, 78, of Murfreesboro, who died Friday evening following an extended illness, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Lighthouse Baptist Church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Rick Flowers will officiate. His parents were the late William and Susie Jones Adamson. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Handley Adamson; daughter, Mrs. Virginia Barrett of Murfreesboro; son, Elmer L. Adamson of Florida; sister, Mrs. Dovie Farmer of Kentucky; brother, Willie E. Adamson of Kentucky; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Adamson was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church and a retired employee of the Sunshine Hosiery Mill and former resturant owner. The body will be at Woodfin Memorial Chapel until the services.
