Gabrielle Paige Watkins was the bright, beloved daughter of Gary Steve Watkins and the late Mashariki Greene Watkins. She was born on September 25, 2002 in New Orleans, LA and went to be with Jesus on September 8, 2008 in Baton Rouge, LA.
Gabrielle attended St. Agnes Catholic School and was in the first grade. She was very outgoing and enjoyed dancing, singing, and playing with her cousin and best friend, Akili. Her favorite TV show was "That's So Raven." Her favorite foods were chicken nuggets from Wendy's and her daddy's red beans and rice. She wanted to become a veterinarian when she grew up.
Gabrielle is survived by her loving father, Gary Steve Watkins; four brothers, Gary, Malcolm, Darius and Terrance; grandparents, Victoria Watkins Gary and Donald and Charlene Greene; cousin and best friend, Akili Greene; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held September 20, 2008 at Greater Tulane Missionary Baptist Church in New Orleans. Gabrielle was laid to rest in Providence Memorial Park and Mausoleum.∼Gabrielle Paige Watkins died Monday, Sept. 8, 2008.
