Eva Landrum Adams, 93, of Ovett, died Monday, Jan. 5, 2009, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, at Good Hope Baptist Church in the Landrum community, with burial in Good Hope Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus Landrum and Eleanor Culpepper Landrum; husband, Roland H. Adams; a son, Charles R. Adams; granddaughter, Vickie Adams Blackwell; granddaughter, Christine Adams; great-granddaughter, Mary Ashley Adams; daughters-in-law, Janis Adams and Helen Adams and son-in-law, Milton Scott.
A member of Good Hope Baptist Church in the Landrum community, she was owner of Adams Grocery.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Narvel K. Adams and Judy Adams of Ovett, Rudolph Adams and Janie Adams of Ovett, Freddy Adams and Dianne Felger of New Braunfeld, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dorthy Scott Scitzs and Kenneth Scitzs of Ovett, Dianne Smith and Ray Smith of Ellisville.
The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to service time.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Ellisville Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
