Walt specialized in singing folk songs and those about the west. He was an entertainer in many of the nightclubs in the San Fernando Valley where he lived.

Walt with his mother Jessie Renwick just before he went overseas. He was wounded his first day in battle, paralyzed from the waist down, and spent the rest of his life in a wheelchair.

Walt performing. He was sang Folk and Western songs in many of the clubs in the San Fernando Valley. He also did a commercials and cut a record of two songs he wrote.
