Mrs. Shelton was born July 2, 1906 in Winnfield, daughter of the late J. W. and Jose [sic Josie] Boyett, formerly of Hudson Community.
She is survived by her husband, J. B. Shelton of Winnfield; one brother, Horrie Boyett of Ferriday; and four step children, Mrs. Gresham of Springhill, Pugh Shelton of Albuquerque, N.M., Roy Shelton of the U.S. Air Force in San Antonio, Texas, and Winston Shelton of Winnfield.
Among out of town guests attending were Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Boyett of Pollock.
