Gladys I. (Wiebusch) Komanetz, 76, Fargo, ND, formerly of Grafton, ND, passed away Friday, August 13, 2010 in Innovis Health, Fargo.

Gladys was born October 22, 1933 to Frederick and Nora Wiebusch in Georgetown, Minnesota. She attended school there and after moved to Cass County, North Dakota where she finished school.

Gladys married Joseph Francis Komanetz on May 26, 1951 at Lake Park, Minnesota. They lived on the farm and started their family. They moved to Grafton, North Dakota in 1962 where she worked for the State Developmental Center. She continued for 26 years, retiring in 1996.

Gladys belongs to St. John's Catholic Church where she was active in the Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters of America. Gladys moved to the University Drive Manor in Fargo in 2005 where she was living until her death.

Gladys enjoyed among many things, spending time with family and friends.

Gladys is survived by her daughters; Linda (Arlynn) Troftgruben, Edinburg ND, Angela (Dan) Turner, Fargo ND, Darcie (Robert) Gust, Burnsville MN, son's; Andrew (Michelle) Komanetz, Grafton ND, Joseph Jr. (Randi) Komanetz, Mapleton ND, brother, Robert (Hildur) Wiebusch, Arthur ND, 15 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter.
